Seeking a Research Scientist to join our team working on the project \"Neurobiology and dynamics of Active Sensing\".
Duties/Responsibilities: Assist in the design, implementation and management of ECoG studies that are distributed across data collection sites. Evaluate analysis plans proposed by post-doctoral trainees across different sites. A significant secondary responsibility will be to implement analysis of findings from parallel experiments that are run in monkeys and healthy human subjects.
Minimum Qualifications: PhD required in Neuroscience, Biology, Biomedical engineering, Computer science or related discipline, and several years of postdoctoral training in related research field (e.g., Neuroimaging, Cognitive Neuroscience, Systems Neuroscience, Electrophysiology).
Preferred Qualifications: Strong signal processing and programming skills (e.g., Matlab, Python) are required, and affinity with analysis toolboxes (e.g., Fieldtrip). Prior experience with M/EEG or ECoG acquisition and analysis, and a competitive record of published work on topics relevant to the research program. Strong organizational and management skills and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
