The Director Sales Training will be charged with building a best-in-class sales training curriculum to support a new sales force and a novel schizophrenia drug launch.

Sales Training Strategy, Execution Responsibilities, and Deliverables:?
Responsible for managing and supporting the organizational training needs and the design, implementation, and evaluation of sales training programs that facilitate the professional development and continuous learning of sales force team members. Apply adult learning principles to product, selling skills, sales management, and leadership skills training. Aligns training priorities with necessary skills to support marketing strategy.?
Leads development of the strategic vision of sales training that aligns with current and future sales and marketing strategies and drives the organization toward continuous improvement and learning Responsible for the curriculum development and implementation of initial and advanced training programs Develops and launches an ITCI sales model and coaching model Drives the implementation of training needs assessments and identify training initiatives to address any gaps or opportunities? Develops training priorities; plans and executes training programs tailored to meet set priorities? Leverages technology to create efficiency and enhance the learning experience Appropriately balances training demands with business priorities Coordinates training objectives and delivery for manager meetings and POA Meetings Collaborates with marketing and sales leadership to train and optimize approved selling tools and promotional materials Drive sales training strategies for product launches. Serve as key member of product launch teams Partner with legal and compliance to ensure effective and timely roll out of compliance training, assessments, and certifications Select vendor and consultant services to augment sales training and development initiatives as needed Maintain training and development expertise (via research, benchmarking, and continuously seeking industry knowledge) to ensure ITCI sales training initiatives are on the cutting edge Lead sales training team in the achievement of specified goals and objectives within timelines and budgets set. ?
Sales Training Organization Responsibilities:? Responsible for management and development of training manager(s). Direct, coach, support and delegate appropriately to team members to achieve departmental and personal goals Effective recruitment and retention for department (up to 2 staff) Develop and manage the Training Department budget Produce cost-effective training programs within budgeted resources
The role requires strong management skills to build a sales training program reporting to the VP of Sales. A commitment to assessing the product knowledge and selling skills training needs for sales management as well as evaluating the training programs that ultimately prepare the sales management team to lead the sales organization in achieving corporate and sales objectives. Responsible for ensuring the specific Management training programs are aligned with HR Leadership Development.

Strong partnerships and open communications with Sales Leadership, HR Leadership Development, Marketing Leadership, Compliance, external partners, and US Commercial Operation?s Leadership required.

Be accountable for all aspects of the team. Provide appropriate timely direct feedback to employees to ensure appropriate clarity of expectations, coaching and development. Ensure training team works effectively across the department and with all business partners.
Requirements Neuroscience experience Pharmaceutical Sales Representative experience? 3 years of first line management experience required Bachelor?s degree;?Concentration in business, or education or Science/Biology/Medicine/pharmacy preferred An MBA is preferred Minimum 10 years experience in Sales/Sales Training/Pharmaceutical Commercial Operations experience effectively leading, motivating and developing teams Experience in adult learning/education with corresponding certifications? Minimum 3 years of home office training leadership experience preferred.
